I am a New Zealand expat returning to New Zealand but my partner is foreign. How do they get NZ Residency?

Great news! From July 2007, a change to residence policy has meant that there will be no cap on the number of residence places for overseas partners and dependent children of New Zealanders. This means that as long as your relationship meets the requirements outlined by Immigration NZ, your partner is guaranteed residence in New Zealand. The basic requirements are outlined below.
